I watched episodes 3 to 5 last night and by halfway through 3 I have pretty much written it off. It's like Neighbours level TV.

It's not just the plot holes, it's the completely unrealistic situations and circumstances - it's like they've had loads of good ideas and tried to just cram them all in.

There's no character development or build up of suspense or drama etc, just "there's a voice" and then five minutes later "problem solved". Meh.
I’ve downgraded my ‘meh’ to ‘it’s pish’.

    And that’s being kind.

I have now finished The Boys on amazon prime and really enjoyed it. If you're into Preacher you'll probably like it

Trailer for Manifest looks good, certainly had a bit of a Lost feel to it probably solely down to the fact it was about a plane incident. I'm finally making my way through The Wire just now. Loving it so far.
I've quite enjoyed the first couple of eps, got potential.

Second season of Succession starts on Monday on Sky Atlantic.

Was a slow burner but once I was hooked it was probably my favourite show of last year.

The great hack on Netflix is worth a watch, very interesting and thought provoking on our digital data and what it can be utilised for. Cambridge Analytica may very well have shaped our world for a generation or more.

Was that about the tackle on Wayne Foster on the halfway line all those years ago that failed to materialise? 😉

I'm a few episodes into The Boys on Amazon Prime.

Really like the concept so far. It's pretty graphic at times, but I'd describe it as comic book violence so far.

Good watch. That Beverly Kaiser comes across as deranged.

My journey through the troubles, by the journalist Peter Taylor.

    Captivating and emotive.
    It's on the BBC.

It’s horrendous. We’re nearly at the end of the season and I’m pretty much only watching it for laughs now.

Utterly terrific, first 2 seasons are brilliant.. third wasn't as good for me, and 4th back on form again. Trying to get them all watched again ahead of the new season next weekend.

Anyone with even a fleeting interest in American politics MUST watch Fahrenheit 9/11 on Netflix. 2 hours of absolutely mind-blowing revelations.

One of my favourites over the last few years, Jonny Lee Miller is quite brilliant in it.
