I find that hard to believe.

    Sorry.

Watched the first two episodes of The Mandalorian. Not particularly a Star Wars fan but thought they were quite good. Only half an hour per episode so an easy watch.

Finished it the other day. Thought it was excellent. Fantastic production values.

We're watching The Tiger King on Netflix. Quite interesting, and really shows how backwards American rednecks are.
It's very bizarre, it's like if Jonny Morris ran the Waco cult.

Finished The Stranger. Thought it was a decent enough watch but nowhere near as good as some people I know made it out to be.

Unsure what I'll watch next. Do fancy giving The Mandalorian a watch especially after the above reviews.

I started rewatching Breaking Bad a few days ago. I often wonder if TV shows get better the longer it has been since you watched them and if there is an element of rose tinted glasses.

In the case of BB it definitely isn't the case. If anything I underestimated just how good it is and there are loads of little things I missed first time around that I've picked up this time. Raced through 3 and a half season in 4 days, including a marathon session that saw me sit up until 3am.

I'm only a couple of episodes in and it's bonkers. Tony Montana is the most normal out of all of them, mental.

We are definitley watching more TV with this enforced lockdown but that is okay as we were getting close to the maximum memory on the box

One clear advantage has been that Mrs Mibbes has never watched The Sopranos. I have seen them all, albeit at varying times, some episodes several times, others just the once.

We have started at series one for her and she is absolutely loving it. I am rediscovering just how good it was. Incredibly well-acted television, the family stuff far more than the mob and crime stuff. Many seasons still to come and it feels like a real treat.

Better Call Saul for me is just as good as Breaking Bad.

This thread is 108 pages long and I guess Homicide has been mentioned at least once but I would wholeheartedly agree with you. It is a series that I am happy to go back to from the start. And now the world is in shutdown, and assuming we don’t lose broadband, then I might just do that. As stated in an earlier post, I am enjoying re-running The Sopranos and have just finished season one as Mrs Mibbes never caught it. More than happy to re-visit Baltimore though. Again, Mrs Mibbes hasn’t seen it, loves The Sopranos so far, so I am guessing she will love Homicide.

I have read the book, what channel is it on? Also recommend "The Corner" from the same writers
Have finally caught up with Saul Goodman. Love him

That is high praise. I'm enjoying Saul but I'm not sure I'd go that far.

Yeah it’s phenomenal, I am jealous of my parents who have just started and have the whole thing to get through. Plus El Camino and BCS.

On the details point, one of my favourite wee Easter eggs is for season 2. You have the pink bear that keeps appearing in the episode opening, eventually becoming clear as linked to the plane crash..... The bear appears in these flash forwards in 4 episodes. If you take those episode titles in sequence they read 737 DOWN OVER ABQ. Brilliant stuff!

I love Star Wars, and thought the first three episodes of the Mandalorian were brilliant - like a Western set in space.

Re Better Call Saul, it's outstanding - would definitely put it at the same level as Breaking Bad.

I totally missed it at the time but we sat and watched both seasons of Fleabag today. I was a bit sceptical about it but I thought it was outstanding TV. It's classic black humour and I really enjoyed it.

Re Better Call Saul. I'd definitely rank it right up there with Breaking Bad. It doesn't treat the viewer like an idiot and, rewatching BB, it gives so much more depth to so many characters.

Really enjoyed the first two seasons. Me and the Mrs like trying to find the scenes that are depicted in the 'O' like a coat of arms in the introduction.
