Just started watching season one of Ted Lasso again before watching the second one and just realised itís being released one episode a week. Gutted.
6 episodes in for the first season. It's brilliant.

Honestly one of my favourite ever programs. Itís only flaw is itís on Apple TV which restricts how many people see it. As can be seen by the unbelievable amount of Emmy nominations it has, it deserves to be seen by everyone. I was delighted when Jason Sudekis won best actor for it at the golden globes.

If anyone without Apple TV hasnít seen it, I urge you to borrow a friends details to watch it. Itís amazing.

I have signed up for the week trial and will be canceling as soon as I finish TL. Through episode 10 now... It's great.

I enjoyed the first series as well - plan is to sign back up for a weeks trial when all of s2 is available.

I've finished the whole series now. I thought it was the best one so far. Some scenes a bit far fetched, but this happens with most series just for dramatic effect.
I really enjoyed it too, so much so that Iíve dived back into The Missing series 1. I have a weird dislike of James Nesbitt but I can tolerate him for more Baptiste.

Anyone watching Snow Piercer? Without giving much away, I found the story interesting in that the events on the train mirror many real life historical/political events. Monarchy, revolution, the strive for socialism, democracy and dictatorship. Obviously the author had this in mind as he was writing the script. Once you get over listening to Sean Bean whistling through his latest set of dentures it's half decent.

I donít understand that ending at all. It hasnít really answered any of the questions and thereís not going to be another series.

Agreed , I knew they were not renewing a 4th season so i was hoping for closure but sadly never got it , Dunno if at the time they were expecting a 4th season but it left a lot of unanswered questions that's for sure

I'm assuming you've just made a wee mistake with your numbers because I'm on episode 10 of season 3, I seem to have completely forgotten about the initial reference to a lifeboat though in season 3.

I was reading earlier that Netflix might pick it up or that there might be a feature length episode to finish the story.

When did the lifeboat first get mentioned? Completely passed me by. If I was a bit younger I'd rely on Olive to tell me. 🤔

Feel like I need to prefix this peeve with the fact I am a woman, but what is with the sound effects with the womanís boxing in the Olympics? Almost every fight Iíve watched had had one or the boxers going doosh doosh doosh when landing a punch. I honestly have to mute most female fights because I canít listen to it.

I was an oofer when I boxed, I think it was caused by exhaling through my gumshield when throwing punches. Many sports use exhaled air to add power to whatever action they're carrying out, just not all of them wear gumshields.

Those of us of a certain vintage will remember the old TV series of Batman, all the sounds were essential back then.

Must say this series of Baptiste is a pile of horse manure.

    Time to retire Julien.
