Vic and Bob's Big Night Out on BBC 4 has started its second series brilliantly. The first series was pretty good, they've smashed it this time though.

Watched "Safe" on Netflix, was good for a few episodes then seemed to try too hard and take too long. Worth a watch but would have been better with two less episodes.

I started watching the sinner last night, I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be one of those shows with a massive twist at the end. The first two episodes have been really good.

I watched Elizabeth is Missing on BBC One last night. Best drama that I have seen in a long time. Glenda Jackson was outstanding in the lead role. Surely deserves a BAFTA.

Just in the middle of watching The Confession Killer on Netflix. Just when I thought nothing could shock me about US law enforcers, this comes along. It’s unbelievable. From watching this and from listening to various podcasts on the subject of wrongful convictions, I wouldn’t be surprised if around a third of people in prison in the US are innocent.

Not sure if if interest to anyone but stumbled across, “Guy Martin’s Great Escape” on the catchup. He trains to replicate the famous motorcycle jump in the Great Escape, replicating it at the same bit it was filmed at.
More a light hearted documentary about the Great Escape, and visiting the sites of where it was filmed as well as the real life locations the film was based on.

Been watching lots of Final Space recently. An absolutely brilliant programme. Fabulous soundtrack as well.

Anybody else watching Sticks & Stones on STV? Quite awkward viewing (obviously a bit extreme). Only ever worked in an office but, never been involved in either side of one of these situations.

Just finished The BBC's The Name of the Rose, really enjoyed it although quite a lot of it passed me by. Beautifully acted and wonderfully shot.

Don't **** with Cats on Netflix is pretty disturbing viewing
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Netflix has done surprisingly well with the Witcher, I'm a huge fan of the books and even bigger with the games, I didn't hold out much hope and wasn't enthralled with their casting of Geralt but I really really enjoyed it and they've treated the source material with care

A Christmas Carol with Stephen Graham and Guy Pearce has been a really good adaptation so far, really dark. Looking forward to the final part.

Watched it recently, the amount of time and dedication he puts into rehab is unreal, you can tell you must really still love tennis - would be easy to give up after what he’s achieved
