I honestly haven't been so at a derby in near on 30 years, but neither do I have feelings of doom!

I am worried about what I see as our lack of firepower but have fingers crossed.

Btw...it's monsoon like in Sydney....what's the weather like for match day?

I'll be sitting with Hibs top on watching the live telecast in Sydney, so gies us a wave if you are at the game

I feel serene going into this match. Usually I'm sweating bullets, but I have this quiet confidence that, we may not win, but I'll still be proud of them.

It's almost 11pm here and I am going to sleep like a baby tonight with no worries about tomorrow, just a curiosity as to whether it will be a pivotal event in derby domination. If not tomorrow it will be soon. The Yam scam is over and Jambo wages are numbered like their days.

I've already burnt the toast and spilt my brew, hopefully that's the worst bit out of the way as I'm about to set off for the game! Mon the Hibs.

    Hearts FC v Hibernian FC

Edinburgh derby day today, sees both Hearts & Hibs clash after both sides recorded a victory in their opening games.

It's very windy so hopefully Hibs keep to their passing game and press Hearts when we don't have the ball.

This is a new Hibs side with what seems a new attitude so let's get right into them from the start.

    COME ON THE HIBS!!!

hope we are back to the more fluid 4-2-3-1 after last weeks brief alteration to accommodate the Heff.

allows more support from FB's going forward to give width but makes sure we don't surrender Midfield (vital in any Derby).....just hope the irregular supporters have patience as we attempt to keep possession at the back and through midfield...

We just need that moment or two of skill and bravery in the final 1/3 and it might just be our day

I agree, our best chance is to drag them into a football match, in a hammer throwing contest they'll win.

Agree about the formation as well, not sure if I'd play with Allan in front of Craig and Robertson or handling. Handling likely to be more attacking but Allan being more of a natural midfielder could be useful.

I'd definitely play Kennedy and Harris to get at their full backs.

They do indeed. My yam chums believe it'll be a walk in the park and are predicting 3 or 4 nil to them.

Needless to say I've not replied in kind

I started drinking yesterday at noon and came home about 2:00am. Fell alseep on the floor and I must admit I am still pretty drunk. Those whisky and Jaeger shots on top of wine and beer really put me in the Twilight Zone.

However, I'm lucky that I never get hangovers and I'm just about to head out to watch the old Hibees do us proud !!

    1-3.

I thought prematch banter and chat on 'Match Update' threads had been banned on Hibs net, or did I miss something?
