Celtic fans have never really taken to him. He posted a pic on facebook of his new trainers last Thursday (the day after getting humped in Poland) and they went crazy. Seems like it may be getting worse. He single-handedly saved us from going down the season before last under Fenlol. In this league, and under the insperational Stubbs we would score 40 goals. You're right and I knew someone would say it. Celtic didn't pay £1m for Riordan and Hibs were a mid-table SPL team at the time though. That's ignoring the fact that Riordan had been at Celtic for 2 years without doing anything whereas Griffiths has been there 6 months.
