    You said it Terry!

This is from Terry's season ticket speech on the main site.

'But while I learn about the club's rich past - I'd rather be making history rather than learning about it. And together, we can write a new chapter.'

Well done Terry - what a visionary.

Here's another favourite. I remember reading it before the away game and thinking it was odd.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27488091

"I played in the final of the Uefa Cup many years ago, won 3-0 and lost 4-2 and eventually won the trophy.

"There's a different significance to the game than something like a Uefa Cup final, but we know the importance of it and are raring to go."

You are right Terry.....I couldnae give a flying one about the UEFA Cup final.

3pm thank you - that was a laugh out loud there.

Aye, our managers do come out with some belters right enough.

Sadly reminds me of Duffy - another who hid his managerial ineptitude with rent a gob quotes...

I wasn't impressed by his "extra time is a bit of a lottery" quote from Sunday. Why not go further? After replacing our main goal threat with OTJ I suppose it is.

Duffy's classic after a defeat was always to say "No excuses, but...." followed by a long string of excuses.

Aye, great management conference claptrap, Terence. Clearly putting the theory into practice isn't so easy.

My favourite has to be after leg when he said: "When we got into the dressing room at half time no one knew what to do" aye Terry we could all see that from the stands. Amazed it took you till half time in what will hopefully prove to be your second last game for the club.

Ah the wonders of the internet for trawling up things front the recent or distant past - I'm almost regretting pulling that moony now - although my wife might disagree ;)
