I can't take out of that that there will be more investment in the playing side of things. We already have a healthy playing budget.

    What's funny about that?

Believe he's got a bad injury again so I feel sorry for the guy.

Could never fault his commitment for the club when he played and as far as I'm aware has never bad mouthed the club so I've no beef with the guy. He never wanted to be injured so much for us

He was a sick-note - the fact that Leanne Dempster unloaded him onto us suggests she's a sharp businesswoman who won't be taken in as easily as Petrie and Fenlon were.

Kenny McLean - out of contract at st mirren should be a target although will be a target for English team I would imagine

Kallum higgingbotham - great season and exactly what we need

Sonogo - loan spell at Ross county ended and is the type if strong demanding centre half we need
Higgingbotham just signed a new contract at partick

My guess is they are looking at a partial fan ownership model. They'll obviously be interested in how many of the Muppets have signed up to FoM (and how many keep paying) and Leeann Dempster clearly has ideas in that direction:

Dempster is well placed to comment on fan ownership. It is an ideal that sits comfortably with her and Boyle, and she is now trying to convince local businesses to take stakes in the Well Society, which has already raised £400,000 through individuals.

"Something like the Well Society is a better model than one individual owning a club," she asserts. "The ideal would be a group of [wealthy] individuals with a fan ownership model running in tandem. The notion you are throwing money into a black hole by owning a football club is not true, especially where the bigger clubs are concerned.

"At Motherwell we have a limited fanbase because we are competing with the Old Firm on our doorstep. But if you are asking about Hearts, the debt burden there is the issue. Once that has a resolution, through administration, Hearts would be an ideal proposition for a consortium type arrangement of individuals and fan ownership – they have 10,000 season ticket holders and are based in a city. There are a lot of people who could become involved and this is could be a great opportunity for the rebirth of a big club."

Paul McGowan and Farid El Alagui now free agents

El Agui did really well with Falkirk in the first division. Was mostly a sub at united but did get a few goals (including one at Easter rd surprise surprise!). Might be a decent signing in our current predicament.

He'd be great for us in the Championship with a fast, pacey striker next too him.

Possibly down to his run in with the police? I would take him however, he would tear up the championship.

Players like Goodwillie and McGowen are the type of players we should avoid. Sick of signing players who care more about a night out than the club!

Nah that's us. Butcher is heading there.

Seriously though before we even think about signing players we need to make 4 major transfers first.

Petrie OUT. Butcher OUT. Malpas OUT. Marsella OUT. That would be a start.

Collins, Heffernan, McGivern and Nelson to follow toot sweet.

Iam worried incase there is relegation clauses in Hanlon, Stanton's contracts, league one sides could offer sweetie money and it might be enough.

Hanlon can go he is part of the problem. Just because he has been out injured since the last week I'm March doesnt admonish him from the blame. He is not a CH but if you are right then surely he will have offers we will see.

Good luck to him and I hope it works out wherever he ends up, but Id be a bit worried about him signing if I was a Dundee fan. He will presumably be one of their first choice CBs, and weve seen over the last couple of years his fitness can be a real problem.

Have not seen it anywhere else - little blurb in the Sun saying Hibs are keen to sign Jason Mooney - Tranmere goalkeeper who has just been released.
