So much for the Financial Fair Play rulings if this is true.......Can't see it happen to be honest.

It would make it a lot more interesting put it that way. Would love to see the wee man prove all those doubters that he is the best on the planet

I can se it happen because of F.F.P. regulations in that Barca and Real Madrid need to reduce their overall debt to the German Taxpayers.

This whole 'richest club wins' aspect of European football is getting a bit boring. It's like in FIFA when you sign all the best players. It's fun at first, but gets old fast. When Chelsea started spending big it was somewhat intriguing...but now I'm sort of hoping it all implodes on itself to level the playing field.
But, I'm a slight hypocrit because I'd love it if a billionaire bought a non-old-firm team (not Hearts) just to put an end to Celtics' dominance.

A story that will sell newspapers but will come to nothing. Messi won't leave Barca for Man City or any other club.

FFP is a disgrace anyway. It's just a means to ensure the big European clubs stay ahead of the rest. This gives eufa the best chance of "glamour" clubs getting to the group stages. Thus ensuring eufa max the advertising potential this brings.
If an owner wants to throw HIS/HER cash at a club and not want it back then they should be allowed to.
Platini can GTF as far as I am concerned.

I'm not even sure he'd get a start ahead of Stanton tonight in Dingwall.

Man City & PSG are facing fines in region of £50m, restrictions on their Champions League squad size, and a wage limit for failing EUFA financial fair play rules. Pleasing.
