For my sins I've been a Hibby for over 50 years, and yes, the Class of the last 2 seasons has without a doubt been the worst in terms of ability and entertainment ( or the lack of it)

Im not as old as you but I have seen a decent amount of Hibs teams and idolised many a player but struggling to connect with any of the current group and the lack of quality of the last few years has been tragic.

You usually pay for what you get unless it's James Collins.

Loan signings can work but we have had too many duds who don't care about the club. Our other problem is too many players on short term contracts and constant turn around in players - we always seem to be in transition

It's not finished yet but it's the complete ineptitude and inability to create chances never mind look capable of taking one that is alarming .Failure to fork out for right striker at right time is coming back to bite us yet we all knew with griffiths gone that was the key area we needed to address.

what is happening currently at ER is criminal and if we lose next week (high possibility) then I wouldn't begrudge any fan protests after the game. A win next week would restore some pride but can't see it happening.

There have been some dreadful performances in the past and long suffering seasons but never, in my memory and opinion, have Hibs been in such a shambles as a team. And I think everyone, no matter when they started watching Hibs, will agree that we have never seen a Hibs team being such push overs, week in, week out. Even the bad Hibs teams in previous decades would offer some resistance.

But we survive this year hopefully and I will expect improvement from the management team next year with some of their players. I admit I had hoped TB & Co to have at least improved the organization of the team but maybe we just have to admit that many of the players simply are not good enough and if they are not then no amount of coaching and encouragement will make them so. A good manger should be able to get good players to perform to their strengths but I really believe some of our players do not even make the grade as a good SPL player.

But if you have supported Hibs for ages and supported team like the Boston Red Sox (before their recent wins).........there's always next year !!
