I seem to remember he was only expected to be out for about 6 weeks so surely it must be just round the corner.

When is Robertson due back?

Sooner the better. Seems to work well with Liam Craig. We need Craig back to his best now. We don't have many goals in the team and he knows where the goals are.

entirely agree when those two were working in partnership it did appear we had a midfield.
With things getting tight at the bottom it would be great to have him back for the post split games

I just noticed that the first game post split is the 19th of April, there is a free week in between the aberdeen game and the game against St Mirren so maybe a wee chance he could get back.

Robertson was doing a lot of running by himself last Tuesday at east mains when I was out there, hopefully a sign of him being back in full training soon

Since Butcher came, Robertson has played 10 games and in these games our record is W 4, D 3, L 3, F 12, A 8. Since his injury we have also played 10 games and our record is W 1, D 3, L 6, F 10, A 22. He may not be the best player in the world, but his energy and ability to get from box to box has been really missed in our midfield, particularly defensively as he has a presence and heading ability.
Incidentally, the defence in those games was pretty much exactly the same as it is now, except for Hanlon having missed the last couple of games.

Hope he is back for st midden came...I agree our best player by some distance (not saying much I kno) but I like Robbo. He gives 110% every game...unlike many of our wage thieves at present. No coincidence that Craigs form has slumped since Robertson got injured..

If Robertson gets fit how about this for the midfield and strikers:-
Robertson-Thomson
Watmore-Stanton-Craig
Anyone from our endless pool of talented strikers
Not saying it would be great and not saying it is a long term answer, just trying to cobble something together from what we have. A formation and use of personnel I don't think we have really tried as yet.
