    Post split fixtures

Now that the top and bottom 6 teams have been confirmed anyone know when the fixtures will be announced? Would make sense for them to sort this quickly to allow fans time to plan for travel etc

It would be the sensible thing to do in order to maximise the chance of people being able to go to games as they have more time to plan their travel etc.

I'll bet the fixtures will be announced just after the last round of fixtures before the split are played.

They will announce them and then change them again in a few weeks time to suit TV.

Other than the derby, I can't see the TV companies having any interest in the bottom six fixtures so at least we won't get jerked around too much.

Have to disagree E . The battle to avoid the play off spot will involve some tv games .

There are good battles for second and fourth, and the TV companies will want to show a couple of Septic and Sevco Huns games which means very limited opportunities to show the bottom sides.

Can't imagine much demand for St Mirren vs Ross County or Hibs vs Partick.

What do we reckon the fixtures will be?

In no order - This would mean a fair balance of 2 home and away - but knowing our league they will make it so we have 3 away games.

    Partick - H
    St Mirren - A
    Yams - H
    Killie H
    Ross County A

With our home record we might be better with three away games haha

That would give us 20 games at home an 18 away, so more likely Partick or Killie will be away.

We'll be away to Partick or Killie 3 times in my opinion

    Post split fixtures

Now it's all sorted who are the top/bottom 6 wouldn't it be sensible to announce the fixtures ASAP so plans can be made!! Any ideas when they'll be released?

I've been holding off booking a few nights away as I was hoping not to miss another home game from my season ticket, can't see any reason why they are not available yet. No thoughts given to fans, especially those with kids on school holidays who may want to make travel plans etc.

    Far too sensible.

What're the odds on the weds night game being ross county away, or the cheats at home...?

Going by previous seasons, they're normally announced the weekend of the last pre-split fixtures. So probably around the weekend 5th/6th April...

Can see our game against Partick being away and moved for TV. The derby will be moved for TV and if we are still in the mix our last game of the season will be the TV game.

That's cos normally it's taken till the last weekend to know who's gonna be top and bottom 6. Our fantastic association will probably still wait till then to make an announcement tho

I can easily see us staying unbeaten in the last 5 fixtures. Positivity

In the last 10 fixtures in the famous 'bottom six league' we've only lost 3 times

Anybody heard anything yet? This is ridiculous, what are they waiting for? How hard is it to organise 5 fixtures?

I agree, but they usually announce them the week after the last pre split game. Has someone said they would be out be this week?

After next weekend the worst case scenario looks like this

    Kilmarnock 36 points
    Hibs 34 points
    County 34 points
    Partick 33 points
    St Mirren 31 points
    Them f*****

For me St Mirren are the team that we want to lose as many games as possible, if we could beat Aberdeen it would be a huge kick in the nuts for the rest of these teams especially if one of them gets beaten.

The SPFL said it would be this week on twitter

Fully expect that means Friday at 5pm knowing them!

I think Killie and County will be safe and would hope we get them last when they've nothing to play for and already beat St Mirren and Thistle. I've said many times now. The key is the St Mirren game. Lose that and we are in bother.

I'm sure we're due to play Saints away, as we've had them at Easter Rd twice this season
