This is all part of a Farmer-Petrie master-plan, the launch-pad for the complete revival of the club from top to bottom.
We get relegated, which guarantees us 2 home games against The Rangers (big bucks), 2 home games against Hearts (big bucks) and the real possibility of a place in the play-off (big bucks) while paying the players Championship wages and only having to open one stand for the rest of the home games (meaning a big cut in overheads.
We return triumphantly to the Premiership the following season, just like we did last time, after an 'exciting adventure' in the lower leagues.
What could possibly go wrong?
