Absolute legend - think we would all love to be the one that scores the goal to relegate them.
Cummings to come on and score the winner and put them down in the last ten minutes.

I just love it !!!

“I would love the chance to play in a game like that. It’ll be brilliant to play in; it’ll be a mad day. Every derby’s the same – they’re always important games – but there would be nothing more special for the Hibs fans than Hearts getting relegated.”
With their team preparing to play out the season in the bottom six for the fourth year in succession, Riordan feels that Hibs, who have played second fiddle to Hearts for much of the modern era, owe it to their long-suffering fans to ensure they rise to the occasion and give them a positive memory from what looks like being their last visit to Tynecastle for at least a season.
“After all they’ve gone through, it would at least give the fans something back if Hibs could relegate Hearts,” said Riordan, who is now at Alloa Athletic.
“Since I was a wee boy growing up, Hearts have always been the stronger team until the past few seasons, when it’s got a bit more equal. The big money Hearts were spending was always going to catch up with them.
“It was just a matter of time, so in a way they deserve it.”

Talk like that from a Hibs legend should be enough for some of the folk on here that constantly rip into him to STFU!

Don't be so afraid. As bad as we are, we can at least try to believe in ourselves going into a derby that would relegate them. Note that again/ RELEGATE them!!
Chin up and stop worrying about 'them'. As the man said "they deserve it" :Last edited by The Green Goblin; 27-03-2014 at 10:06 PM.

All the positive chat comes from ex Hibees. Our problem is that we seem to generate Hibs daft talents that we can't keep, and who end up talking big around the match, whereas the players going onto the pitch will be…..

Deek's comments should be a massive motivation to the players as it is a great opportunity to end a very poor run and get the fans back onside with them.

"Nail in their coffin". Could be the last ever derby at the PBS. Let's bury 'em...

Clearly a hibs fan. Loved scoring against hearts as well. It's a shame he isn't somewhere better than alloa at this stage of his career. Anyone know how he's getting on?

"I did not need any persuasion to play for such a great club, the Hibs result is still one of the first I look for"
