Anyone else see this tonight? The Racing players refused to play as they have not been paid in over 4 months. Talks of the reserve keeper being homeless and sneaking into the training ground at night to sleep.
And at the same time Wayne Rooney is negotiating his 300k a week deal and wanting first piece information about United's transfer targets.

Wayne Rooney's wages mean nothing to this story imho.
What about Barca & Real? Messi, Bale's and Ronaldo's wages?
Messi not paying his tax

They did indeed. Apparently Sociedad kicked it about for a bit, then out for a throw, which is when the ref ended the game.
Fair play to Santander's players, staff and fans - hope they get it sorted. They've has the courage to do what Hearts' players did not.

Good for them! a team with backbone at not being paid, pity a certain other mob never had the balls to do this.

Football authorities need to wake up.
Sustainability of the game has been an issue for a while now and they've done too little too late.
They should hang their heads in shame Blatter down."We know the people who have invested so far are simple fans." Vladimir Romanov - Scotsman 10th December 2012
"Romanov was like a breath of fresh air - laced with cyanide." Me.

Similarly if the 11-1 voting system isn't changed by the time Sevco are back in the SPL the smaller teams in Scotland will have no-one to blame but themselves. I can't understand any possible argument for keeping the 11-1 voting system, it doesn't make any sense to me at all.
