    Jordan Forster (merged)

Was simply outstanding tonight - would have been my choice for man of the match.
Solid in defence and a threat going forward and a great engine to get up and down the right hand-side - at times he looked like an young Steven Whittaker charging forward - well played son.

Agree completely, he did so well when he came into the team last season and I was hoping to see him get back in.

Great to see a fullback of ours really getting forward.

    Forster

A really brilliant 90 minutes from him. Spent the whole match bombing up and down the pitch. He looks confident and strong on the ball, wins headers and loves the overlap with cairney. As long as he continues in his development under butcher we could have a cracker of a player on our hands.

What strikes me with his performance tonight was its so unusual to have a defender who can actually do his job, and be effective in attack- more often than not it's one or the other.

Hats off to you. Great display tonight.

Agreed, outstanding tonight. Keeps up this form and right back position is sorted

Agree again. And from the back he has the same build as SW. Uncanny.

Looks a really good solid defender and gets forward as well plus dangerous from set pieces. Here's hoping!
Have to assume Terry and Mo are making BIG difference with the defence.

Excuse the comparison but he reminds me of Phil Jones for MUFC... I think Forster is class and will get better and better.

If he can play like this more often than not then sorry he is a much better player than Rodger

Looks the part - thought he was in with a shout for MOM. He wins so many headers in the opposition box he's bound to pick up a few goals over the season.

Was very composed for such a young player, knew when to go and when to stay. Didn't get sucked into any silliness by Stevenson or walker (I know walker swapped sides when they subbed tapping, but he got nothing out of Forster), what an engine, was still making overlaps right up until we scored the second. Was comfortable chatting to the ref calmly and getting his point over. Caused plenty problems in the hearts box with his feet and in the air.

    very well done.

Wasn't sure about him in his first couple of games at right back but he's really grown in to the role in the last couple of games. He's got some engine as well. Seems like good pro as well.

How often was Forster played at right back in the youth squads? He looks a natural there.

He was immense tonight, albeit against fairly poor opposition....... HoMOFC don't have much to look forward to if that is their 'Golden Generation', when they are sold and the 2nd string are manfully trying to reach mid table in the Championship........

Solid game and you can tell he loves Hibs

    So good in the air!

Such a different team when our full backs get forward.

Was simply tremendous! Almost opened the scoring with that header off the bar in the 1st half, but looks a great prospect and really happy we have tied down on a long term contract as the boy deserves it!
