"Leigh had an argument with Jackett because he didnt want to come off at half time"
"He didn't even come and sit on the bench in the second half either."
(info from wolves player Liam McAlinden, via Facebook.)
Bit of a non story, I'd hope our forwards were complaining about a 45th min substitution.
Still, it does keep my small glimmer of hope alive that he falls out of contention down there, and is available for a return to hibs at some point in the future.

Goals have dried up a bit for Leigh and the other striker at Wolves, fans beginning to moan stating the football is boring and they should be well ahead in that league, Leigh is the type of player who needs to feel wanted and maybe the honeymoon period is over down there, wee Pat for all his failings knew how to get the best from him.

I think I actually love Leigh. 28 goals in a season where we finished bottom 6!! Incredible. Wishing my life away waiting for him to come back in all honesty

He needs to come home to where he is loved and appreciated.
Come on Leigh, you know it makes sense.
Sadly it's not going to happen as he is exactly what we need.

Sparky is a great player there is no doubt about it. Boab was talking to his brother just the other day and he even said that sparky was itching to sign when we had the chance. Guy could have been a Hibs legend.
In saying that guys I hate to break it to you all but im afraid ive got some BAD NEWS. You can't keep looking back on what could have happened with Griffiths. You have to accept that hes moved on to bigger things and is just simply too good for the SPL. Boab wishes him all the luck in the world in his future endeavors.

Putting it out there, that effort that hit the post at St. Mirren would have been as good an individual goal as a Hibs player has scored in a long time.

Spoke to him a couple of weeks ago. Not enjoying it right at the minute.
All he needs is a goal and I'm sure he will be fine.
Stop scoring Leigh and come home!

Much as I loved watching Sparky, I honestly think he had no intention of signing permanently for us. If he did, all he had to do was wait six months and could`ve signed for us for free but he chose a two yr contract with Wolves. Sorry to be brutal but that`s the way I see it

A better financial package, a comparable level but with a far better opportunity to move up a level and away from the constant hounding of the Scottish media.
If i was Leigh i wouldn't have signed for Hibs either given all the circumstances.

Yep, the only way I think we will see him back in a Hibs shirt is at the tail-end of his career, we seem to do that with ex-strikers!

Another one that refers to himself in the 3rd person. Are you Sidney in disguise?
