A nice wee brainteaser for you

Any cryptic crossword buffs on here?

We feature in today's Guardian puzzle:

21 Sadly, Hibs wingers dismissed as "unprepared" (2-3)

The answer has nothing to do with fitba BTW, the compiler's just using a convenient combination of words, but the clue is uncomfortably close to reality :)

I didn't cheat. I'm usually rubbish at cryptic clues, though I like ordinary crosswords.

    Take the words "Sadly Hibs"
Dismiss the 'wingers' i.e. get rid of the outside letters of each word (s,y,h,s) and you are left with adl & ib.
This spells 'ad lib' .... meaning off the cuff or 'unprepared'.

    My apologies my friend.
I did not intend call anyone a cheat.
If there there was a cheat it was me and just wondered if anyone else could stoop to my low standards.

East Stirlingshire was the one that stumped me on a previous occasion.

What team is the only team in Britain to have a letter that nobody else has in their name? (4 English leagues + 4 Scottish)

What is the only Scottish team named in the bible?

Yup, particularly good shout as I meant World Cup rather than European Championships. Laggy internet not letting me correct quickly!
