Play more attacking players..
Tell the players they are allowed to pass the ball forward!!!
Tell the players to pass the ball quicker!!
Work rate to get into position needs drilled into them..
Organise the defence, all over the place
We need pace!!!

Pass and MOVE, speed up, play the ball to feet, score goals!!
Make them do this and I'll be happy enough.

Totally agree with this.
The squad is so unbalanced and we lack pace and creativity badly! Still to many poor players in the team. The myth that Fenlon built a good squad should be put to bed now

We started with 3 left backs today if you include McGivern as one

I would advise him to cancel any playing staff holidays over the international break. Get them all in for double sessions. Use the time to get to know the players. Learn their strengths and weaknesses and work out a strategy for taking us forward.
I doubt this will happen. The players will all be out getting pissed and enjoying their holidays and we will have not progressed by the time we go to paisley!

For the next 14 days a MM boot camp, get the squad running up and down Arthur's seat.
They are so slow of foot and mind, its embarrassing. ......and make Collins do it twice!
The sheitaki is going to hit the fan, when the training is changed, and long overdue.
That'll do for start, at least we will be able to run and sprint for our next match.

In seriousness.
Inject a bit pace and urgency from somewhere.
Push us 10 yards up the park, compare ICTs pressing to ours today.
Tell players to have a shot at goal, if you miss then so be it.
Hunt the ball in packs to make sure we get it back. ICT done that well today and at the highest level Barcelona do this.
Get Williams to release the ball short quicker. Too often he hesitates when there is an option then it's a hoof.
Tell our full backs to overlap ocassionally as opposed to standing 7 yards from a player in a straight line.
Tell Zoubir to just run at teams. 3 stepovers whilst edging sideways isn't always necessary. Running at a player scares them.

Our players do seem so slow to absolutely everything. I dont know if its because they are just slow, they arent working hard enough or they arent good enough to read the game, but its something that seriously needs addressed. Im not talking about genuine pace (which is a whole other issue), but just general pressing and closing down seems to be particularly labored.

The first thing for me would be to bring in two good full backs and use McGivern as a cover at centre half.
I think that would help us both going forward and defending. We don't have a proper right back while Clancy is out and McGivern isn't comfortable on the ball at all.

Tell McGivern he doesn't have to thunder the ball straight down the pitch every time he gets it.

If he has any sense he will stay where he is. Why on earth would he want the grief of managing that shower.
