Great read, remember KHs first team debut away to East Fife in a preseason game

last I ever remember of him playing, was at Derby, many years ago. Where did he play thereafter?

Good read. I liked Harper, he was inconsistent and frustrating at times but was very exciting to watch on his day.
The Mackay incident was poor. A sizeable minority of the Hearts support were at it that day though.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

Good article. Sometimes you can forget about what goes on behind the scenes when you see a boy in the first team and you think that they have got it made.

Sums up the type of man Medals was/is, firstly to actually racially abuse someone and then secondly deny it-despite there being clear evidence! I was only 12 when I sat at this game and even then I remember realising what had happened and how totally wrong it was!! This prick was in his 30's and didn't know any better. He should never be allowed to forget this.

Absolute creature of a man, the fact he's seen as some sort of spokesman for their fans, some respectable ex pro, really sticks in the back of my throat.
****.

"Now 37, Harper looks fit enough to still be playing and wouldn’t say no if asked"
He still had it when I saw him playing for Hibs Legends!
Seriously though, always one of my favourite players and a good guy too.
Kevin Harper vs Gary McKay basically sums up Hibs vs Hearts.

I've seen that before, clear as day. Unbelievably he reinvented himself as a spokesman for Show Racism the Red Card campaign, and did talks on the subject. Which would be fine if he had genuinely changed his ways and shown contrition, but the ****bag still denies the Harper incident happened. Something about 'clearing his throat' was his excuse IIRC.Last edited by hibsbollah; 26-10-2013 at 11:11 AM.
