Started his Hibs career as number 19 if I remember correctly.

    Finished it as number 8.

Now 38 this season and end of last season.

Sorry 38!!! Still a strange number I'm sure he would've had a choice in it.

Was surprised when Robertson was named our new number 8 tbh, thought it was Thomson's as soon as the story that he and Vine had signed on broke

maybe it's his second spell first full season 19*2 is 38 or is that just a strange thought?

  12. #11
Maybe 8, 18 and 28 were all allocated when he signed last season so he went for the next available number with 8 in it.

    Probably not though.

I know him well, it's how many games he has to get MOTM before some Hibs fans will accept him back

I've sponsored his away strip this season. Looking forward to getting a framed top at the end of the season.

On a side note, has anyone gone to buy a shirt off the website with his name on the back? They have it spelt as Thompson, wee bit research by Nike/Just Sport wouldn't go amiss.

Well tell your mate that the vast majority are delighted he is here and hope he will be for a long time to come. Class act.
The vocal minority are begining to pipe down now at last.

This website is a good'un for discovering past squad numbers - and a few forgotten players too.

Maybe you could point it out to the club so they can get them TELT ?
