BT Sport is being offered free on Freeview channel 57 from 7pm on Monday as part of a BT promotional drive. The article below doesn't mention the Thistle v Hibs match specifically, but it stands to reason that it will be one of the matches shown.

Well here's a prime example of tv killing the football fan.
I had spoke myself into going to the game. Now I know I can get it for free in the house, I won't be going.
Although maybe that's says more about me than anything else...

If the game wasn't on tv on Monday I'd be there
It is on telly, it's on a Monday, it's unfortunately an easy decision for me

Can you get this if you've got a Sky box?
"Play for the name on the front of the jersey and the supporters will remember the name on the back"

In an effort to pull in more subscribers BT’s consumer division has today announced that its new BTSport TV service, which is usually offered for free alongside their various home broadband and phone packages, will become available to EVERYONE with Freeview, BT TV, Sky TV (Sky Broadband) or Virgin Media TV for several weeks this month.
In short, viewers will be able to watch BTSport’s magazine and live sport programming on Freeview channel 57(note: only ‘BTSport 1′) from the weeks commencingOctober 7th and 14th (Monday – Friday from 7pm each evening). Similarly customers on Sky TV andVirgin Media will get access between October 25th to 28th (Friday 6pm – Monday 6am).

414 is the BT channel that's advertising the game but doesn't mention the free weekend promo.

Btsport has been a lot better than sky. David James and Hargreaves are good analysts for man city game, now Leverkusen v Munich and Inter v Roma.

Lovely Jubbly!
Can't make it to the game for various reasons, so i'll be helping myself to some of that.

Won't make much odds to me. I'll be working up until the last 30 minutes of the game and then I'll spend 20 minutes of that 30 minutes driving home.
Might catch the last 5 minutes.

I don't work the weekend and finish early on a Friday so that suits me more.
I won't be going now on Monday. I could manage it but the fact I can get it on tv in my house for nout means I won't.
If it was fri/sat/sun I would go regardless if its on tv or not. As I said Monday night football is another example of the football fan being killed off for tv purposes.
Or is it an example of me not being an uber fan like your good self?

So to clarify; are we able to see the Thistle game without a BT Sports subscription? Not sure if they are just showing certain things /channels.
