Aside from the fact Swansea would have beaten us 24v0 over two legs, a trip to the Mestalla Stadium would have been great. I'd be going there with a sombrero and an abacus though.

Maybe if the Malmo players had all gone down with galloping dysentery and an earthquake had swallowed Swansea FC and their stadium whole so that we got a bye ...

But would you REALLY want to see this Hibs team line up against Valencia?

We can but dream - because of (apart from our usual chronic underachievement syndrome) the stage at which we will almost always enter Europe (when we even get there) we will almost certainly get papped out by a technically superior and fitter team, before trips to Swansea or the Mestalla etc become anything more than a wet dream.

I think - as stupid as this is - that as long as Swansea remain in the competition, about 0.01% of me will still think "what if........"
