    Tonights games

I hope we'll all be supporting Sauzee's boys tonight against Arsenal?

AP Gignac is a good shout for first scorer, and keep an eye for Florian Thauvin, just signed for 15million from Lille, supposedly the next big thing in French football and making his home debut. Judging by his youtube montages he's pretty special.

0-0 all round at 18 minutes in - watching Chelsea at the moment

Nothing major to report - Wilian looks good though

If the kepper makes a genuine save with his hands he can then walk the ball to the edge of the box with it at his feet then pick it up.

What he can't do, is touch it with his hands when its not a save, walk to edge of the box with it at his feet then pick it up again. And that's what the Milan keeper done.

It was introduced to stop a keeper picking up a ball, putting it down, walking about with it then picking it up again.

An indirect free kick is awarded to the opposing team if a goalkeeper, inside his own penalty area, commits any of the following four offences:

    • controls the ball with his hands for more than six seconds before releasing it from his possession
    • touches the ball again with his hands after he has released it from his possession and before it has touched another player

One of these ones that happens all the time but keepers never have the balls to give it.

If it was a shot, he could parry it down, walk out and then pick it up.

On this occasion, the ball rolled through to him, he pushed it with his hand which deems he cannot then pick it up. But got the impression from his reaction that even the keeper wasn't aware of the rule.

Cracking game in Naples this evening - Dortmund 0-1 down - trainer Klopp has been sent off, the goalie Weidenfeller has been sent off, Hummels has been substituted with an injury, Naples scored from corner because 4th assistant refused to let injured Dortmund player Subotic back into game in time ...

Celtic are making Milan look a very poor team here tonight.

Davie Provan is the natural replacement for the dearly departed Rikki Fulton if they ever bring back the character Rev I M Jolly - I'm poorless here listening to how depressed and dejected he sounds once Milan went ahead

Absolutely horrendous pundit - makes Derek Ferguson sound articulate

Did I hear the AC Milan manager say that they're not getting challenging enough football. Wonder if last night was challenging enough for Mr Lennon.
