Played centre half for most of the game and was OK but moved into midfield when Black came on for Paul, with Maybury shifting to the centre alongside Forster.

Hibs just didn't quite get it going tonight.

They had a superb start when Cummings should really have scored, but then Saints had a good spell before it fell into a stalemate. Saints then scored with a good shot from the edge of the area and while Hibs dominated the ball in the 2nd half they didn't really threaten the goalkeeper. St Mirren then scored a nice second before Mulhall scored with a header but it was ruled out for offside.

He was OK but I'm not sure out on the right suits him. He's a big lad and was IMO lacking in pace against his opponent last night. He didn't get into the box often enough or get past his man but he looks a tidy player.

Mind you, I've only seem him play a couple of times so perhaps my opinion does not really count all that much!

Likewise when Iv seem him thought he didn't look a winger. Especially against Aberdeen last season at Pittodrie, doesn't really beat his full back but works hard and like you said tidy on the ball, never looked to threaten there defence. Anyone that has seen him play more able to say what he's like? Is winger his proper position?
