Anyone know how I set up the virgin box to record it. Just joined them and would normally just press the record button but the program starts at 1 o'clock and could well run into extra time.

Bring up the chanel on the menu by pressing the tv button and on cup final program press red record button, then do so for the program that is due to start afterwards. Hope this helps

Yeah when you go into guide find show then press R gives you option of record as programme or add extra 1hr or more

Maybe you have them on a series link or they are progs that closely match ones that you choose to record yourself. They are called "Suggestions" but don't use up any of your hard drive space. However once you watch one of the suggestions they just appear in a standard folder.
