That's what I would have done and indeed did. I mean how difficult is it to type AEK Athens into Google?

I was on a tour at Hampden in about 2008. There was a couple of Greek boys on it. Turned out they supported Panathinaikos. I mentioned that I supported Hibs and they were gushing about how well we'd played in the second game and how gutted they were we didn't win. I could only respect the fact that they held such a grudge against AEK that they could remember teams who had almost beat them years beforehand.
Anyway, back OT - good stuff if AEK have gone down.

Seen a clip on you tube last week. They lost a last minute goal and their fans ran on to the pitch trying to attack the players.

There was a video circulating on twitter last night I think it was of the own goal that sent them down, 86th minute. The player that scored the own goal was on the deck obviously gutted to then look up and both sets of players and coaches were chased off the park by AEK fans! Scary scenes

[QUOTE=Baldy Foghorn;3576619]The atmosphere in Athens at the Match was poisonous. Had a great time pre game, but approaching the ground, with the police hitting fans with batons, if you dared walk off the path was crazy, very intimidating....(QUOTE)
Certainly the first and probably the last time we'll ever hear a Hibs support chant U.S, U.S.A, U.S, U.S.A!!!

Does anyone remember the random guy close to the fence on their side who spent the evening making random animal noises? Cows sheep cockerel's... Very bizzare but pretty funny.

I don't think we'd even got as far as the "kos" when the skys turned grey and all manner of objects rained down on us.

Is that the club where the player was caught 'waving to the crowd'?
Apparently, 'waving to the crowd' in Greece looks more like a Nazi Salute than it does here
