Just a thought. How many of us would feel confident if we are winning 3-0 at half time against the tic?

I'd love to say very confident.
The truth is though that I remember feeling nervous when we were 4-1 up against Killie in '07! I didn't relax until we scored the fifth.

Nope! I remember in the incredible 6-6 game with motherwell that at 6-2 up I still thought we needed another goal, not much as changed still not confident when we lead

We should just go 3-0 down again and surprise them

I think that's Fenlon's cunning plan.
Celtc will be 3-0 up at half-time and will be so busy p*ssing themselves laughing that we can take them by surprise, just the same as Falkirk

I would do this if I had a house. I lost it in a stupid bet on saturday when I said Falkirk would win at half time

Glad I am not the only one then.
Reference the 6-6 game, when we went 6-2 my mate said "surely that is it" and I replied that I thought there were still plenty goals to come. Unfortunately true.

Not on your nelly. 3-0 entering the last 5 minutes and I'd still be ****ting a brick.

3-0 up at half time in the Drybourgh Cup final against Celtic.
Their fans started fighting among themselves and the ref stopped play to clear them from the field of play.
They came back to make it 3-3 and into extra time when Jimmy O'Rourke came on and started a figntback.
I think the score was 5-3 to Hibs that day in 1972 in front of 50,000 people at Hampden.
We beat them 1-0 the next year in the final too (1973)
That 5-3 game remains my favorite Hibs game along with the 0-7 game and will always be in my memory.

4-1 up against Dundee about 8 or 9 years ago at Easter Road. Lucky to hold on to a draw 4-4.

Gawd, thanks for the enthusiasm?
We are in the Scottish Cup Final against the League Champions and will always be the underdogs?
Come on you have to remain optimistic and embrace the day for what it will be.
A second consecutive SCOTTISH CUP FINAL!
Win lose or draw we have to make a special day of it!

It's Hibs. It's the Scottish Cup.
I wouldn't be confident if we were 3-0 up in the last minute of injury time.

I was at that match 45 years ago. Ever since, I've never trusted a Hibs lead until the final whistle.
Well, maybe excepting 1.1.73 at the PBS....
A tight 0-0 until Sparky hits the winner in the 94th minute will do me

To think if we'd won maybe would have got rid of Lennon!
Heffernan had a great chance after Celtic equalised too

Infact the "7-0" tape includes:
7-0 v Hearts
2-1 v Celtic
5-3 v Celtic
6-2 v Airdrie
1-0 v Liverpool
Some result against Rangers at Ibrox from the 80's,
Some more "modern" stuff from the late 80's and 90's.Last edited by sambajustice; 19-04-2013 at 07:51 PM.
