Reason I'm asking is my Dad struggles to walk a few hundred yards, does the bus take you and pick you up right outside the ground?

In answer to your question - Yes.

There's a shared coach parking area just to the rear to one of the stands and it's only a short walk from there. He shouldn't have too much difficulty, unless we're at the exact opposite side to the parking area, but even that walk can't be much more than 300 yards.
