My Gran and mother to (Eaststand) sadly passed after last night after a short battle with cancer and she was a huge fan of the Hibs. She loved football and despite being in her early 80s, loved watching sky sports in her house when a decent game of football was on.
I went into the hospital to see her a couple of weeks back and despite being terminally ill and completely short on breath, still had the Hi-bees in her thoughts. She told the dr "I need to be home by Sunday lunchtime" the dr clearly wondering why this day exactly, "it's derby day and i can't miss it"
She loved the Famous 5 and the Tornadoes. I really would love us to win the cup in May for her and all the other Hibbys up there looking down and know she'll be with us in April and hopefully May.
R.I.P Gran and I promise to give the lads a good cheer on today on your behalf.

A lovely post that Andy
She loved the Famous Five so much that she called her first son Lawrie after her hero, the one and only Lawrie Reilly
It was an absolute privilege to be her son, she loved her family dearly, was loved by many, and was a very very special person
RIP Mum
