Brazil 82 is possibly the most overrated team ever in my opinion. Some great players (Socrates one of my favourite players ever) but I get the impression English hacks in particular drool over them because it takes the limelight away from Argentina and the Germans domination. Italy were absolutely sensational in that game, and then went on lift the trophy in style, but you never ever hear folk waxing lyrical about Italy 82 as much as Brazil 82. Did Hearts not lose a cup final to Celtic in the last few minutes or so. Seem to remember van hooijdink scoring 2 late goals?
Always remember Henry smith dropping 2 late goals at Hampden v Airdrie I think
