Was chatting to my mates (in the pub - as you do ) about great wins we've attended involving the Hibees.
Anyone been to all these ? Has anyone got the full set ?
'72 league cup win
Dryborough cup 1 win
Dryborough cup 2 win
Skol / league cup win
CIS cup win
6-2
7-0
i missed the famous game in history regrettably. I was only 10 and not allowed to go on my own!
I was at the rest though.
Feel free to add to the list. (Eg Ivan hat trick.) We may have missed other major classics . We were well bladdered when we started this convo.
Apologies if this thread has been done to death before.

You could add the Barcelona game from '61 to your list. Be good to hear from anyone who was at the 1st leg.

I would have added the LC win against Killie. Winning a cup and doing so with that scoreline and total domination of the game. You see, we can do it too
If you want to include high scoring games, there's the 7-0 against Livingston (2006?) and the 8-1 (1983) against Killie.

I remember the boy running about the pitch at the end with his son on his shoulders in the rain . LMASLast edited by deekster; 09-03-2013 at 08:33 AM.

Hibs 2 - Hearts 1 - Oct 1987. My first derby victory and the end of a long winless streak stretching back years! Goals from May and Kane I think.
