Bowls may be the most tragic sport there is. It's between that and speed walking.

The good news for Hearts is that the damage their fans cause on Saturday will be paid for by Hearts, Inverness, Celtic and St Mirren, not just Hearts themselves.

It's a sport where people only want to see the top 16 players playing each other over and over again.

Not too many tickets sold to to the 400 k core support
Next door neighbor is a Hearts man through and through and told me today that theer has only been 7 k seats sold for the "Big Team" why is that the case.
Inverness have only sold less than 2 k as well - a good percentage of the Inverness population but am mystified as to why there is such a poor take up by the Jambos .

Hibs definitely make sure they gave ALL cost repaid and let's just say for the Scottish cup damage they took a wee margin on top!! I know someone connected to the firm they use for repairs and the official bill was 'high'. Of course that will be the same amount charged to the club, of course it will :)

It's not as if we'll actually ever see these stickers as they'll have a week to clean them off the seats as we're not at Easter Road until the following Sunday for the cup tie v Aberdeen.
Shame...

Snooker doesn't have as many characters as it used to. That's because the old cuemen had lives outside of the game. Now I see a bunch of pasty-faced wains.

I'm expecting a few broken seats, well a lot of broken seats, urine soaked bathrooms and 5-1 written all over the place.
It's nothing that a spring clean can't handle and then we send them the bill for the pleasure!

The stadium has been leased by the sfa... any damage will be paid for by them

That's correct... The SFA pay all costs, rental etc.
The proceeds are pooled, SFA take their cut and then the rest was split 4 ways, then "non Business as usual" costs ie vandalisim etc is deducted from the relevant teams cut. This was to prevent other teams subsidising the guilty party.
I also remember a clause that if the council pass any game related costs to the hosting club or SFA then this is also included.
Their hoped for windfall might yet end up a lot less than desired, surely they can't be THAT stupid?
Then again......
