It's part of the course. Exocet a few rushed loan signings in the last couple days on the window.

No, we won't even get rushed loan signings. Pat Fenlon is clueless and Rod Petrie is tighter than a nun's front bottom.

We prioritised our loan players and have 2 signed up along with a pre contract.

Craig pre contract not count as a signing? We should get in somebody to replace Ivan as we lack width, nobody on the bench either except youth.

I am very happy with activity so far, Giffiths extended, McGivern extended, Craig Pre-contract, Donalson tied up. I'd rather wait for quality signings than something jsut for the sake of it. Few thought we would get to keep Griffiths & McGivern but we have and we are trying our best with Claros.
One more real quality signing and I will be a very happy Hibee.

Loan signings extended great....
Hopefully fenlon can address a few areas that need resolved....such as a striker, winger and a midfielder who likes to take a few shots at goal!!!
Its frustrating that some contact with clubs had not taken place prior to the window opening, but on the otherhand the players hibs want probably are not available in January!!!!

I dont think JUST because someone has played in a certain league, that makes them a good buy?
He may turn out to be a player, and if you have seen a lot of him then fair play, i have not and will make my decision on just how good he is on how he plays in Scotland.

Wouldn't it be great if, just for a change, we gazumped THEM - provided the guy is any good of course.

Spend the money now, quick, before the prices come down towards the end of the window. Don't extend loans, don't extend contracts, don't sign players on pre-contracts and negotiate for their early release. Stand tall and firm bonny Patrick, says Rod. Reduce our income stream producing fans to tears by not lifting a finger in the name of squad improvement, until you hear them squeak.
The classes against the masses shouts Rod and then he and Pat read each other light hearted tales from their autographed copies of Mein Kampf as Pat compliments Mrs. Petrie on how photogenic she looks on the book's cover.

Of course the SPL and MLS are radically different leagues with different playing styles and certain players might not adapt to it, so only time will tell if he will be a good fit. But from what I've seen he is definitely better than Tokely and Munro, but there are examples - such as the ones you have stated - of players coming into the league with a decent CV but are dross.
