    My first thought too.

Sounds promosing, also good that we are trying hard to get the 3 loanees extended.

he can't help us this season.

    I hope we sign him.

He's Portuguese, a winger, and he's called Pedro Santos!

Even if he's pish it will be worth it for the buzz in the stadium before he takes his first touch, as everyone anticipates him getting the ball, beating at least five players and then blasting it in the top corner from 18 yards. It's what being a fan is all about!

Come to think about it I don't think I will have felt that kind of anticipation since Alan O'Brien's debut, and that turned out well.

Yes not immediately but surely the fact he's looking forward is all good.

Or Edwin de Graff. Your thinking, dutch player, must be awright like. Turns out to be the only dutch player in history who could not pass a ball 10 yards. Haha

Look at his scoring rate for his first club. No bad for a winger!

Whoever can forget our previous Portuguese star in the form of Filipe Morais?

He looked a class act, but only occasionally during the course of 90 minutes!

Aye and he absolutely loved Hibs.Net

After one of his rare goals he had a pop at 'keyboard hardmen' by making a typewriter action.

    Hilarious

Ah - I'm sure he'd be referring to the Bounce rather than the highly esteemed posters on here.

Last player we signed from a Portuguese club was pretty decent ;-)

If Mr Santos is half as good then he'll be a great signing....

If they have real interest then we have no chance I would think

Aye, he did it at a famously pulsating friendly against Cowdenbeath.

Don't think we won. However, it was a big ask, we played in the baking fife sunshine after a greulling trip over what has become known as 'the forth road bridge'.
Wasnt it a breakaway from the halfway line at Easter Road? He ran half the pitch on his own and slotted past the keeper IIRC.

I think forth news pretty much take there hibs and hearts stories from the evening news, he's not actually signed, we're just interested in him.
