Would you think of rehoming an adult dog instead?

Here's one - a lovely Jack Russell. These dogs are amongst the most intelligent you can find!

Here's a link and good luck!

I had a look at the dogs trust already. Most of their dogs cannot be around children or need a quiet home. Although i live with my fiancee and the house and enviroment is stable i have two young nephews who are both under 7.

I also like the idea of building a real lasting bond with a dog from a young age.

The dogs trust do great work and if the circumstances were right for my family situation and the dog then i would definately use them.

I got my dog from dogs trust. Went up a few times to see what dogs were there and a lot I liked the look of had issues. They then told me they had a bull mastiff who had been there a day and wasn't listed on their website yet. As soon last as I saw him last April I said we would take him. He's just about to turn 2 now, was well trained and really well socialised with people and dogs and well behaved if not a bit boisterous and very playful.
You should go in and have a look and ask to see the list of dogs due in the near future, the best ones are snapped up before they even get there.
