Displays cost money, something we are lacking.

That's not to say there won't be something though.

Why don't all three stands stand up with their scarfs aloft and sing Sunshine on Leith (a bit like Liverpool's or Glasgow Hibs YNWA), most cost effective and would be totally inspiring!

Did yous try to raise any cash for this? I would have put a tenner in. The East is going be full for the first time and would have look good

We were possibly going to do something on a large Scale but decided against it for various reasons.

Still 2,200+ left in the home end, excluding corporate. Looking about around 16500-17000 sold in total.

I Think the Lads have to pick and choose their games as funds allow, This to an extent is an unplanned game so having the money in place was always unlikely. Im sure as these things go on they are learning how to Maximise donations and will at some point be in a position to have reserve funds for unplanned matches. Keep Up The Good Work S43

(but it has to be at 51 minutes in)

That would be epic if that song was played on Sunday!!!

I've always been disappointed that we haven't seized the oppertunity to make fun of them on match-days with a tune or two that is comical and rubs it in at the same time. Always thought the players running out to 'The Magnificent Seven' theme tune against them for example, would be great!

Their announer likes to wind us up when we go, last time bringing on ex-yams that have scored versus us etc, yet as soon as we do something (not even against them) the announcer is sacked!

We are too much of a soft touch about that sort of thing.
I'm going to make a batch of cup cakes with the Hibs crest on them and hand them out before the game. Hope i don't offend anybody.

bollox. The directors are Hibbies just like you and me. Don't think any were involved in the decision on the announcer. It was a. Management decision by all accounts

What about this being played? Maybe subtle enough to go unnoticed

Yep, i know bud, we also used to occupy that side of the city when we were at their bit, walking to and from...maybe the change to the drinking laws and where the away fans are situated has put an end to that (all we do know is occupy a pub at the Roseburn)

Always mind a bus full of Japanese tourists at festival time taking pictures of thousands of Hibbys walking along the road...quality.

    Reclaim our city :pfgwa

It took me a good ten minutes to get the "If I knew you were coming I'd have baked a cake" reference. Pure gold.
