Just noticed on the Hibs website that kids under 12 get in free.
Wasn't going to go, but defo going now if I can get the wee man in for free! Saints really offer good deals for families, can't see why Hibs don't do this more regularly.
Anyhow, bring on Wednesday, big game for the boys ahead of the derby!

If it's the Ormond Stand (mixed support) don't expect much atmosphere.
Saints have a limited fan base and really need to be active with their offers in order to build it up. Catching them young seems like a sensible way to do that.

Keep forgetting we have this game - anyone else the same?
Looking back to a month ago when we beat Well 4-0 that was really a sit up and take notice result as I don't think anyone was expecting that. We then really started looking at the fixtures ahead with confidence saying what if this and what if that. We then ground out a win v St Mirren, beat Dundee Utd with the focus on Skakel 51 etc, went up to Dens on a high as table toppers. Crashed there spectaculalry then there was a bit of hype round Saturday's "battle of the challenegers".
Since Saturday, a lot of focus has turned to the derby and the Saints game seems to have been overlooked until today. It is a big game as results frrom the last couple of weeks have meant that it is not only us and Aberdeen pacing with Celtic in the race for the league but St Johnstone themselves, ICT, Motherwell and even Dundee United are creeping back. Even the Yams have stacked together a 3 match unbeaten run!
If we add another bad result to the recent two games, we are in danger of slipping into the bottom half of the table.

We're creating chances but not taking them, I'd be more worried if we were not creating much in these last two defeats. We need to win this one though.

If we lose him in January then I admit to being worried as to how the second half of our season will pan out.

If we win on Wednesday, and Aberdeen draw their games this week, we will be back at the top of the League.
Great incentive to get a result this week

this is a difficult game, on the back of 2 defeats, we dont have a great away form, the distraction of the derby. should be a decent game

Not sure when we last won there, I recall they humped us 5-1 last season in Perth, putting five goals past the man mountain Graeme Smith takes some doing...

We need to cut out daft defensive errors due to a lapse in concentration and be as clinical as possible up the other end. No fooling around. Lets just turn up and do what we need to do to get the 3 points.

In four games there since they came back up we've drawn one and lost three, 3 goals scored and 11 (!) conceded. The 5-1 was three seasons ago.

Surely the players will go out feeling they have a point to prove after the last 2 results. We can also go back to the top of the league should results go our way, so that should be an incentive for them to get out and kick some arse. Tough game though. Looking forward to it, heading through on the East Lothian ST Bus.

My biggest memory from this game is a guy who spent the whole game sleeping across 3 seats beside me. The only time he woke up was when we scored!

Does anyone know if someone was to be sent off on Wednesday, or go through the yellow cards threshold, would they then be suspended for the derby? Or would they be suspended for the next league game?
I have tried searching on the SFA website but it's not easy to find.

Don't know why people continue to have a go at the club. Pretty sure they gave away 500+ kids season tickets for the FF at the start of the season and then do other things like free tickets for the Celtic game.

Yup anyone who wants to take an under 12 to Easter rd just once in the season should get them signed up in the hibs kids, absolute bargain for a Tenner considering entry to one match would normally be 12 quid.
