    Xmas ideas- hibs books

Any recommendations? Just talking about books cos the old man likes reading and it would be more appropriate for him then a replica strip! Any decent hibs related books people here would recommend? Cheers

I'm not a book fan but for what it's worth my daughter bought me "Having a Ball - Eddie Turnbull" a few years ago and I couldn't put it down. Terrific read.

The best Hibs book I've ever read was Tony Smith's book on his father Gordon.

I've also heard the Hibernian FC Miscellany is excellent, available in the club store and waterstones and on amazon.

Ted Brack's "There is a bonny fitba team" was by first Hibs book - but Alan Lugton's "The Making of Hibernian" is fantastic.

Completely agree, Tony's book is by far the best I've read on Hibs.

Jonnyboy's new book is also worth checking out!

He will mate. Often told the story of the famous five! Brought up on it. Always envied him that
