Rod's going to be a busy man

Looking at our starting 11 today, only Williams, Hanlon, Cairney and Taiwo, as it stands are under contract at the end of this season.
We obviously need to get a few of the key ones signed on, as well as get some of the loans signed as well.
Going to be a busy time ahead for our chairman and manager

It'll be a dawdle for the Tache - they're not going to leave and miss out on playing in the Champions League, are they?

I would love for us to be able to sign claros and griffiths but i fear we may miss out on claros which will be a shame as he has turned out to be a right good player

If we can keep our current squad together that would be fantastic...

At least Sevco can't steal them!

  10. #9
Maybe he has already got someone lined up.

Ye, but what about the soap dodgers? They've used the bench-warmers tactic to drain talent from threatening competition on plenty enough occasions. Maybe the tache and nutsy had a cunning plan to screw them by taking so many players on loan :-)

I fear we'll lose Claros in January but hope we can bust the bank for Griffiths and get McGivern on loan until the end of the season.

With the team playing well, crowds slowly increasing and therefore more revenue lets hope players like Spoony and Doyle want to sign up on 3-4 year deals.

Hibs should be doing what Celtic are doing and rewarding player with new contracts. I would like to get Doyle and spoony on longer deals well b4 jan when someone could come and get them for nothing.

Rod could do with more bums on seats at Easter Road to help him seal these deals.

    Looks like Whittaker, no dout.

  21. #20
Yeah need to tie up a fee. Still praying it can be done with Griffiths

  22. #21
    Williams

    Clancy-McPake-Hanlon-?

    ?- Taiwo-Deegan-Cairney

    ? ?

If we lost all our players. IMO the priorities HAVE to be Griffiths, Doyle and Spoony.

Would love to keep Claros but unfortunately I cannot see us keeping him, he is class and will end up in another league.

Interesting that Leigh said that he really wanted to be at ER until the end of the season

I wonder what his plans are thereafter?

That's the statement that jumped out at me .
This lad has the talent/ability to go on to play at a much higher level than SPL
His scoring record coupled with the possibility of his gaining his first cap V Luxemburg is raising the ante both Fee and Wages wise .
Sadly think it will be well nigh impossible to keep him 'permanently' after end of this season

It is what it is. A full season out of him would be great but if he goes, we can move on

Definitely. He is as daft as a brush at times but he ain't stupid, I reckon that he will go on to make the most of his talent. Loving it while it lasts though.

Signed an 18 month contract with us last December/Jan. Will be out of contract at the end of the season. Need to tie him down in January

Pat explains here that we'll get him until the end of the season and then he's off.

I have tbh I'd be happy if we can keep Leigh until
The end of the season because if we get into Europe I'm sure he would love to stay for another year!
