    James McPake

Sorry if there is a thread already. (couldn't see one anywhere)

But does anybody know why he wasn't available today? Did he pick up a knock in training?

I was worried when he wasn't mentioned on the team sheet and thought we were going to be in for a long day. But credit to the lads for hanging on. We can't underestimate how big this result is considering the players that were out today.

    back problem.

seen someone post earlier that McPake said on twitter he expects to be back next week.

McGivern was outstanding though, good to know we are not going to horribly struggle if one or two are out.
Still Clancy and Deegan to come back too.

Whilst obviously we want McPake back, it was good to see we have a centre back pairing that can cope if he was to miss a few games this season.

If you look at the back 4 today, it was completely different in positions and pairings from our best potential unit

I thought the way we played possession football in the first half from defence to midfield was brilliant considering we had a few out. Had to defend in the second half and did that well apart from the blib between hanlon and williams

You'd think he'd know better than to pick it up too
    This is how it feels
