I usually park near Croftfoot Bowling Club, especially if at the East end of the stadium. 20 minute walk but easy get away avoiding the worst of the crowds.

Biffy Clyro at Ingliston and Liam Gallagher at Hampden on consecutive days later in the month
    Both gigs were brilliant.

As Steve mentioned previously, Kasabian were brilliant and for me stole the show.

I think Liam ran out of time as apparently both Supersonic and Live Forever were on the planned set list but had to be dropped.

My only complaint about Biffy would be the venue. It wasn’t obvious from the stuff sent out that you actually entered from the A8 rather than the Royal Highland Centre entrance which meant an unnecessary trek from the tram stop. At least there was some entertainment in the queue watching stewards haul folk mid wee from the bushes on the other side of the road and the subsequent square goes. The stewards were a bit arsey on the way in. Basically emptying folks wallets, checking each card for drugs presumably. It slowed entry down so much. The guy wasn’t going to let me in for “drinking too much before arriving” despite me not actually having had a drink which he also didn’t believe as I had no car keys with me (eh?)

We got off at the park and ride at Ingleston. No signposts at all on how to get to the venue. It was miles away!!

They were superb. Totally stole the show. Never been a big fan but I saw them at the Isle of Wight last week. I enjoyed them but was a tad drunk so don’t remember too much. I was on the wagon last and totally blown away. Had a cracking view from the media seats in the South Stand. What a bounce! Will be getting tickets for the Hydro for sure.

To be fair ticketmaster said it was a 20-25 min walk from the team stop! Was a bit of a walk but would rather do that than head to Glasgow

Is there parking at the other side of Ingliston, coming from the West? I've got tickets for Rage Against the Machine in August, and will be approaching from that side. I don't mind a walk from the park and ride, but just incase.
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

But no details in which direction. If you got off at the P&R or the tram you would figure that you would turn right and head towards the airport, taking a left when you get to the road that leads to the RHC.

What you needed to do was turn left out of the P&R and head onto the A8 and then keep going. It ended up being a bit longer than a 25 minute walk which was quite frankly dangerous… walking up a road with no pavement whilst loads of Highland Show traffic was driving past. The guy in front of me got absolutely banjoed in the head by a truck’s wing mirror.

There was a group of women on the tram who were insisting getting off at the airport rather than Ingliston as “it would be quicker”. They would be in for a shock (and I’m not too sure they twigged it is way more expensive to get off at the airport)

Saw Green Day, Fall out boy and Weezer at bellahouston Park last night. Wasn't keen on Weezer or fall out boy but Green Day killed it, it was a long day though.

Just got tickets to see the dropkick murhphys at the hydro.

Oh no! I met a young guy at the airport yesterday who flew over from Cork for the show. What a shame.

Spent the last few month trying and failing to buy tickets for Olivia Rodrigo for my daughter.

Got in from the boozer at 2am this morning, half cut, and managed to get 2 on resale from Ticketmaster.

I'm pretty much dad of the year this morning.

Was tempted but high ticket prices and Axl’s voice being awful decided to hold onto the memories of seeing them in there prime.

Sure they will put on a good show though.

Seemingly they were brutal at the London gig at Spurs ground. sound was meant to be shocking and Axel Rose was all over the place, maybe that's why it's been cancelled, also their gig in Norway on the 29th June was brutal too with Rose unable to hit the notes to their classic tunes.

Sometimes there a reason why bands split up.

His voice has been shot for a long time. Some recent YouTube videos he sounds like hes been turned down volume wise and when you hear him he sounds like Mickey Mouse.

Still one of my all time favourites the gig at the Milton Keynes bowl in 93 was amazing.

Depends a bit on whether you consider a stadium gig better than an indoor venue (with nice comfy seats).

I can't bear comfy seats at a gig.

I'm also not a fan of stadium gigs either....

However, Bruce is coming to Embra; that's where he shades it over Bobby.

I stood for 3 hours at a gig recently. Everything was fine until I tried to walk away afterwards.

Comfy seats are just fine, thank you.

I generally hate stadium concerts but willing to make an exception for his Bruuuuuuuuuuuceness. I've never been to a Murrayfield concert. Do they normally set the stage up at an end or a side? Mulling over pitch v stand tickets. I'd probably go pitch but Mrs JMS favours stand.
