Well the Damned were amazing but the assembly rooms is an absolute shambles for a drink. A bar either side of the main exit from the arena, so in the middle you’ve a mix of folk no knowing what Que to stand in and hundreds of folk piling right through both ques at same time

I seen them there last year I think it was (maybe even start of this?) and had no idea they were playing there again so soon

I’m at The Damned at the assembly rooms on Wednesday and Liam Gallagher at hampden in two weeks
Yeah I was there in October last year (on my first day out of covid isolation) and it was awesome. I wanted to go this time but a work event clashed.

I think they were meant to play Ingliston but it was moved to the o2 for some reason (poor ticket sales I guess)

Hopefully I will be at the Assembly rooms on 24th June for a Maggie Bell gig with Krissy Matthews and various others. I don’t drink so will need to make sure I’m in the right queue!

Think I’ve still got tickets on the go for GMM in Troon been cancelled many times need to check it’s actually still going ahead.
If they're as good as they were last night, you're in for some night. The best I've seen them this time around, and possibly ever.

Anyone parked near SwG3? Taking my daughter to a gig there on Monday and have never been. Wondered if it's easy enough to find on street parking after say 6:30

I was there on Wednesday for Parquet Courts and I parked a few minutes walk from the venue. Really easy.

    Noel Gallagher at Colwyn Bay

Lifetime ambition fulfilled seeing Feeder. Unfortunately they were ridiculously prompt so only got to hear Just the Way I’m Feeling and High while queuing to get in and then Buck Rogers and Just a Day. Vaccines better than expected considering they’ve had a busy two years (🥁) and of course nobody paid attention to Noel until he started banging out the Oasis tunes which of course were superb. Originally in the seats but had a row of council types behind us who wouldn’t shut up wittering so had a dance on the pitch instead

A lot of cross over there. All Hibs talk is banned if we somehow ended up speaking to eachother - I want to enjoy myself!! 😂

    Have a great time.

P.s looks like Jack White is the TBA on Sunday at the Park (in case he is your bag)

They were really good. It's the first time I've seen them - someone got me a ticket as a gift as a more casual fan. I'm only fully familiar with the Wide Awake album really but it was a good set.

It did end on a bit of an anti climax IMO as they finished on a newer track that just didn't go anywhere. But yeah, great band.

Just on the train home from a mad week in Dublin for The Killers and the Isle of Wight Festival. Managed to see this lot:
    Compozers
    Heather Small
    Happy Mondays
    Vaccines
    Nile Rodgers Chic
    Madness
    Lewis Capaldi
    Greek Tragedies
    Chinchilla
    Fratellis
    Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbot
    Blossoms (briefly)
    Kasabian
    Pete Tong (briefly)
    ****gy
    The Proclaimers
    Del Amitri
    Toya
    Ali Campbell’s UB40
    The K’s
    Rudimental
    The Charlatans
    Muse
23 bands over 4 days is pretty good going I recon. Was also lucky enough to meet Charlie & Craig backstage as well as Paul Heaton. Hotel booked for next year!

Biffy Clyro supported by Architects at the Hydro in November. Two of the best rock acts from the UK as far as I'm concerned, both of whom are superb live.

This will be my 10th time seeing Biffy
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

Kubix festival in a few weeks down in Sunderland. Basically £25 a day and the line up over the 2 days is amazing.

SLF, Shed Seven, Happy Mondays, Rifles, Ash, Spear of Destiny, Therapy, Undertones, Skids amongst others.

Now that's a cracking line up. I had a look through the Glasto line up and there are only 4 or 5 acts in the entire festival line up that I'd actually cross the road to see. Changed times.

I usually park near Croftfoot Bowling Club, especially if at the East end of the stadium. 20 minute walk but easy get away avoiding the worst of the crowds.
