Funnily enough I was at Coldplay last night, didn't start their set till 8.45 so had plenty time to get through.

Seats were at the side but big screens were easily visible as was the stage.

Sound and visuals were excellent. One of the best stadium gigs I've been to.
Was there as well in the East Stand not far from where i was sitting at the Cup Final
No Turf No goalposts and plenty drunk folk having a good time A bit like the Cup Final lol
When he sang the line When Tears Stream down my face i was thinking of the Gray Goal Still loving the feeling Scottish Cup winners
Great concert following on from Neil Young on Sunday

You just there for the one night? We're there from Friday for the weekend and I can't wait!
Yes just there for the Friday, mainly for Rammstein but anything else we see will be a bonus.

Would like to have seen Disturbed but they are not on until Sunday I think.

    Enjoy the weekend.

Anyone doing TITP this year? I'm going on the Friday, just because the wife has never been and wants to see the Roses. Not particularly excited about the line up to be honest but will be good if the weather is OK. Didn't go last year so first time at the new venue. They're making big noises about improvements to last year so hope it's better. Sounded horrendous last year.

Plenty tickets still available so looks like last year has had an effect on sales.

I was there last year and it has put me off. I'm not convinced by T's claims of improvements either. But having said that if the lineup was good enough, I'd be there. It's a bit underwhelming for me so I've steered clear.

If someone offered me a Friday ticket for £50 I'd go along but that would be for The Coral, Courteeners and The Roses. There's not really any day where there's more than 3 acts interest me

There was a pre sale that was announced as soon as it went sale. None of this 'pre sale starts tomorrow' malarkey.

Front row in the circles too. Can't wait!

Download was a muddy, wet experience.

Was gutted to find out that Architects had withdrawn two days before the festival due to a family emergency (cancelled the remainder of their European tour) - I didn't discover this til I was waiting on them to come on stage and they raised the banner of their replacement band instead.

Having said that, I had a blast this weekend - The Amity Affliction, Korn, Rammstein, Beartooth, The Men Who Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing, Deftones, Skindred, Delain, Periphery, One OK Rock, Don Broco, Billy Talent and the realisation of a life-dream to see both Breaking Benjamin and NOFX perform live!

Pre-sale tickets secured for The Amity Affliction + Northlane + Stray From The Path + Wage War at the O2 ABC in Glasgow in December, and also for Beartooth at the Glasgow Garage in December.

A mini-Stone Roses review from me: Thought it started off a little shaky but grew as it went on. Mani, always the easiest to read, clearly looked nervous at first. John and Reni were solid as always. Brown's signing was only average for him, which is to say not particularly great. Suspect tonight might be better.

I personally preferred Glasgow Green in 2013.

Nice to see Flavor Flav perform as I only really knew him from VH1.

I was lucky enough to be at the first night in Heaton Park a few years back and I thought the whole thing was amazing. Not been impressed with them so far. The first new tune was really disappointing. The second one was alright but if the first one hadn't been not sure how it would have fared.

I'm not sure why they've decided to make a come back. Is it all for money? I wouldn't have a dig at a band with a legacy as rich as The Roses wanting to cash in on it but it seems a bit...wrong. Not sure why.

Man United fans playing at the home of their biggest rivals, loads of hospitality packages aviaalble. I know you could have got hospitably at Heaton Park but this doesn't seem right.

Maybe I'm just bitter like a lemon...

All for One went down very well at the concert. Everyone responded well and it built the atmosphere up going into Made of Stone and She Bangs the Drums. They aren't all man united fans. I am pretty sure Reni supports City.

At the end of the concert, it seemed like they just really like performing. I know some people said that they though Brown got a little emotional.

Picked up my wife from Ruby Park last night from Rod Stewart concert
Never seen so many drunk women in my life
Even 50 minutes before the end they were staggering about outside the venue and some were lying on the road
If anyone was actually there what was it like inside
Loved him fronting the Faces but cant be arsed with all that Hot Legs and Do you think I am sexy

Question for TITP veterans......I'm going on the Friday and the wife is desperate to get in the front of stage section for the Stone Roses. Previous times I've been I've never been too fussed. What's the script for getting in the front pit, is it just first come, first served? Do you get to come and go to the bog and bar etc or do you lose your place? When would a good time to get in and get our spot for The Roses?

head to the entrance of the pit during the previous act. If you dont get straight in, then at least as soon as the act finishes, people will leave and you will get in. Depending on how busy it is will depend on how easy it will be for you to get in and out for the toilet, but be prepared to be in there for the duration. They normally have male urinals at either side of the stage anyway. I've used the above method several times for headline acts at T and always got in.

Saw him in Inverness on Saturday. Good enough show, but he really needs to realise he's 71 and stop with the arse wiggling, etc. It was totally cringeworthy at times. Loads of Hibbies there, we must have a decent following in the Highlands.

My mate was there and he said much the same. Never seen so many drunk people in one place.
