Biffy Clyro playing Blackened Sky, The Vertigo of Bliss, and Infinity Land on consecutive nights at the Barrowlands in October.

    Yes ****ing please

That'll be times 13, 14 and 15 seeing them live.
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

I'm not a huge fan of these 3 albums but they are some band, unbelievably prolific and doing gigs like these that other bands wouldn't do.

Blackened Sky was my introduction to Biffy - favourite album, definitely not.

Alas, I didn't get a sniff of these tickets. Had presale codes and they were sold out 10 seconds after I got into Ticketmaster's page. Utterly nuts.

Are there not more tickets on sale on Friday? Hope you get yours if so.

The Stranglers last night at the Usher was a bit of a let down. 50th anniversary, but nothing really happened to celebrate that. No support band and a set with a half hour break in it, so possibly the shortest set list outwith festivals. Next up is SLF and The Mary Wallopers in Newcastle this weekend.
Mary wallopers were superb in Edinburgh just before Christmas. SLF always good value.

Next one I have tickets for is snuff in April, still swithering on hot water music in a couple of weeks.

I know, strokes for folks, but I do not get the appeal of Glastonbury. That is an abysmal lineup…

I'm curious as to how Faithless will manage without Maxi.

I love Glastonbury but that’s their worst line up in decades.

Today was general sale, exact same outcome. The second the countdown turned to 'search for tickets' I clicked the button, but 'no tickets available.

Absolute farce - they are, of course, already up on Viagogo for hundreds of pounds.

Happy Mondays supported by inspiral Carpets and Stereo MCs in Sheffield next month.
Paul Weller in Nottingham in October.

Very much looking forward to both.

Got through, seen Ł60 a ticket and bought a Kathryn Joseph ticket instead.

I see some people have complained that Liam Gallagher and John Squire were on for less than hour. They did say beforehand that it would be their album plus some covers. It amounted to the album plus one cover.

I'm a bit worried that the LG Definitely Maybe tour might follow similar lines. "The Manchester legend will perform the classic album, which was first released on 29th August 1994, in full and play a helping of B-Sides from the era". Wonder what a "helping of B-Sides" actually means.

Booked tickets for Big Country ‘Return to Steeltown’ tour at the Queens Hall in September. Saw them there last year for the 40 years since ‘The Crossing’ tour and they were great.

Tickets on sale Friday for Thomas Dolby supported by Martin Macaloon (performing Prefab Sprout songs ) at St Luke’s Glasgow.

Shed Seven tickets bought today for Corn exchange (or whatever it's called these days).

Support from the Sherlocks which is decent.

Not me, honest! I was in U38. They don't really strike me as a sing-a-long kind of band.

Thankfully no idiots like that near us, really enjoyable show. Could get used to sitting down at gigs. Never thought I'd say that.

Nah no chance. It'll be full album plus probably 8-10 more tracks. In line with other Liam sets at the Hydro which average 20 songs.

He's pretty much confirmed on Twitter that we'll hear Cloudburst, (It's) Good to be Free, Fade Away, Listen Up, Sad Song, Whatever and Walrus. That will be about 1 hour 40.

I can't wait. Going to Hydro but might do Manchester aswell. Seeing these songs again (or some for first time) will be incredible.

I enjoyed the Squire gig at the Barras but the album was never gonna raise the roof, it's quite a chilled vibe. The DM tour will be something else.

I had obviously missed all that on Twitter. Listen Up and Whatever are two of my favourite songs

I couldn't get Hydro tickets so going to the Belfast one instead. Prices for accommodation there that week is insane. We've managed to get a decent apartment now but the likes of a Premier Inn was nearly a grand for a couple of days.

Got tickets on the main sale this morning. Looking forward to it. Sherlocks as support is a massive bonus.

He is prone to talking rubbish! But I think it'll definitely be a good 18 songs so maybe some of the B sides (or Whatever) might get rotated but we should get the majority of them.

Wow.... Belfast is a good night out so should be a great trip.

Id go see Sleaford mods and yard act. Mary wallopers are good so would enjoy that too but the only one id get excited about would be High Vis.
