Do you know Tides From Nebula? Also Polish prog/post rock band, I probably prefer them to Riverside.

Bought a ticket tonight to see Hawkwind at The Queens Hall in November as part of their 50th anniversary tour.
A while to wait for that one, but next up for me is Idles in Dublin in a fortnight. I`m over in Ireland then for a week, and also playing is Lee Scratch Perry in the Rosin Dubh, Galway, and John Grant in Salthill, but might be pushing it to get both of those after convincing the missus to travel back on the Friday night to be back home for the derby..

Sex Pistols Experience, May 3rd at La Belle Angele. Can’t wait. Have tickets for the Rifles next month but that’s been rescheduled for November.

Going to see Nicola Benedetti at the Usher Hall on Thursday. I've never been to a classical music concert before in my life. Going on my own but looking forward to it.

Black Grape were good but having seen them twice in two years now I’ll give the next tour a miss.
Urban Voodoo Machine were quite brilliant as usual and I’m hoping they tour next year again.
Next gig is The Sugarhill Gang and Grandmaster Melle Mel, Scorpio and the Furious Five at La Belle Angele. I saw them last year and they were brilliant. Even better it’s on a Saturday night."Washing one's hands of the conflict between the powerful and the powerless means to side with the powerful, not to be neutral.' - Paulo Freire

I was at the specials gig in Newcastle o2 on Saturday, was absolutely jam packed and bouncing.
Next up I've got half man half biscuit at liquid rooms and the adolescents at bannermans in June. Think after that its the dwarves in August at bannermans.
