Filthy Tongues at PJ's in Dunfermline tonight.

I looked at getting tickets to see the God that is Daryl Hall in July in London, as I'll be down there then. Tickets start at £85.....

£51 (plus fees) if you're happy to sit in the Hammersmith Odeon circle. https://www.eventim.co.uk/noapp/even...?affiliate=BAN

Had tickets for CAMEL (Usher Hall) and YES (Glasgow, Newcastle and London). All postponed until next year. Andy Latimer is unwell. YES claiming insurance problems and the possibility of escalating "friction" in some parts of the world.

On a different matter, son and girlfriend were at the Kevin Bridges gig last year when it all kicked off. Complained to the organisers and received 2 free tickets for BLINK 182. Shows it pays to at least try and get some sort of compensation.

I've had two tours (one of which I was attending multiple gigs) cancelled on me this last week.

Got tickets for The Who at Edinburgh Castle. Not cheap at £100 each but they still put on a good gig that belies their years. Or certainly the case the 3 times I’ve seen them before. Their 50th anniversary gig is up there with the best I’ve been to.

Billy Bragg at the Usher Hall in November, celebrating 40 years of his music. I’ve only seen him once, 30 years ago, so I’m delighted he’s doing this tour.

Next month I've got Billy Nomates at the QMU on the 22nd then Richard Dawson at St Luke's on the 26th. Never been to a Richard Dawson gig before, expecting something quite different.

Got Wu-Tang and Nas at the Hydro in June.

Never been to the hydro, but assume it's just a case of getting the train to the exhibition centre and walking?

Spot on. Off the train, through the tunnel over the Expressway, just next to the SECC. Can't miss it.

So tonight I saw Shackites, Seb Lowe, Lottery Winners & Jon Reverend in a gazebo in my mate’s driveway. One of the most surreal nights of my life.

Saw him play at the Ross Bandstand, of all places. Sharing the stage with Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, Joan Baez and Chrissy Hynde. Still can't believe I didn't dream it.

Plenty decent, cheap boozers down there. I particularly liked The Hole In The Wall.

Do you think your security can keep you in purity, you will not shake us off above or below. Scottish friction, Scottish fiction

Wow. And I thought I’d done well seeing 2 of them in one Nashville night.

    That really is historic.
