Was at the Roundhouse in London on Saturday for the last Nick Mason gig of the current UK tour.
Fantastic show which was filmed for a dvd.
Downside of the Roundhouse is that it's a standing gig and everyone else is taller than me. :(

I was at the specials gig in Newcastle o2 on Saturday, was absolutely jam packed and bouncing.
Next up I've got half man half biscuit at liquid rooms and the adolescents at bannermans in June. Think after that its the dwarves in August at bannermans.

HMHB no there is a blast from my past! Been years since I’ve seen them. Quality.

The last time I went to see them I saw the Macc Lads the following month!

    Enjoy

I saw the macc lads at the liquid rooms tail end of last year. Still brilliantly inappropriate

Hmhb are one of the few bands who seem to put out consistently great albums, they seem to improve with each new one.

Public Enemy, De La Soul & Wu Tang on Sunday at the Hydro. Hopefully Glasgow isn’t the usual post Old Firm war zone!

    What a line up!
It is although Method Man has just Tweeted that he won’t be traveling over to Europe.....as predicted by many when the tour was announced.

Haha yes! 16 huge cameras including one on wires sweeping over the auditorium. Was speaking to one of the camera techs afterwards who was really approachable. It was a great show. My 5th Nick Mason gig in the last two years. I never thought I'd ever hear Atom Heart Mother played live.

Gods of Rap gig last night was murder. De La Soul played only one track from their classic album, which the tour was supposed to be celebrating its 30th anniversary. Apparently there’s some legal issues around it. They spent most of their set shouting at the crowd and played about 4 songs.
Public Enemy ended up being Public Enemy Radio, in other words no Flava Flav and Wu Tang were just an incoherent rabble. Looked like zero preparation from any of the bands and the production for such a big venue and expensive tickets was piss poor.

That’s very disappointing should have been epic with those 3.

    Don’t believe the hype ;-)

I went to see Disturbed back in 2002 at the Barrowlands - primarily went to see the support band, Blindside, and didn't think much of Disturbed. Also seen them at Download in 2016 and my opinion never really changed.

Does anyone have 2 spare tickets for Lewis Capaldi at Edinburgh on 14th August 2019 (summer session) that they may wish to sell. It’s my wife’s 50th and I didn’t know Lewis was doing a gig on that date.

Try the twickets website, its fan to fan resale site, tickets can't be sold for more than face value either.

Just on my way down to Sherkin Island off West Cork for Open Ear festival. 350 like minded folk enjoying a weekend of left field electronic & trad. Sea swims, no security, almost non stop tunes, great bunch of buzzers.....only downside is it’ll take 8 hrs to get there.
