And by way of contrast, tomorrow finds me in Glasgow to see Steve Hillage and Gong. Some serious heavy tripping due at that one, I think.Last edited by grunt; 16-11-2019 at 10:58 AM.

I was at the Blue Rose Code gig at the Glasgow University Union tonight. Absolutely sensational. A few new songs, lots of the old ones, although Ross never fails to impress me by singing his songs differently every time I see him. His rendering of Edina slowly morphing into Sunshine on Leith was majestic.

Friday night I had Idlewild in Dundee - brilliant, best I've seen them since they reunited.
Saturday was Arab Strap's dissection at Summerhall - amazing, funny chat and banter with Michael Pederson from Neu! Reekie and a few acoustic tunes. Fab night.
Sunday the missus dragged me along to Halestorm at the Hydro. Not usually my thing at all but enjoyed it.
Chilled on Monday.

Have the misfortune of having to go to Little Mix with my daughter next year. Hopefully they split up before then and I can get a refund.

Went to Richard Dawson at the Caves on Monday, sold out crowd in the palm of his hands. From metal hybrids to folk to acapella, tremendous dude. As a starter check out new album 2020 👍.

Futureheads tomorrow night in the weege.
Been in Manchester the lat few days and was lying in my bed last night watching the election when it came up on my Facebook feed that Ride were playing in Manchester at that very time.
Gutted that I could have seen them and found out too late. Happened to me in Toronto with Prince as well.
Anybody else been in a city only to find one of your favourites had played during your stay.

Got Alter Bridge at the Hydro on Tuesday, supported by Shinedown and The Raven Age. Sevendust was meant to support but their drummer has been taken ill and Raven Age stepped in.
