    Diversion

For anyone who drove to Dingwall

What time did you get back home after the diversion through Pitlochry because of the crash on the A9?

We left Dingwall at 5:15 and got back to Edinburgh at 10:15.

We were lucky and ahead of the traffic by car. In Dalkeith at 8.15.

I'm quite pleased that I decided to spend the night up here.

Wouldn't have fancied a five hour drive back home.

Left at 6 and got back home at 8:40. The 2 diversions were pretty quick.

We turned off the A9 at the services at Blair Atholl which took about 10 minutes to get to only to discover the garage was shut rejoined the A9 for a couple of miles then had to turn off for Pitlochry, got petrol there then followed the diversion sign on to that mental road through the hills.

Those bendy roads are really only for driving on during the day maybe. Pitlochry is not a place that I visit very often, but that looked liked there were Christmas lights up already???

Our supporters bus went via Pitlochry and didn't follow the proper diversions so we were back on a9 after 20mins. Also had a stop for the driver outside perth. Was back in the flat ordering dinner by 8.40 and we didn't leave Dingwall until 5.05
